French Designer Jean Paul Gaultier was inspired by the 19th century fashion and designed a theatrical fashion show for the week’s Haute-Couture Fashion Fall 2012 in Paris.

Models wear top hats with high taffeta collars, mesh headband caps, long silk neck scarves, high thigh cage boots and chokers.

Colours mainly used are black, gold and old gold, orange, camel, old red purple, yellow and dusty turquoise. Fabrics used are crepe, satin, taffeta, mousseline, tulle, camel’s hair etc.  A technique used is sequin embroidery.
