Industry Revolution
The Industry Revolution took place in the 18th to the 19th century which agricultural, rural societies became industrial, urban in Europe and America. Before the Industry Revolution took place, which begun in Britain in the late 1700s, engineering was done in people homes, using hand tools or basic machines. Industrial development changed to powered, special-purpose machinery, factories and mass production. The iron and textile industries, also with the development of the steam engine, played central roles in the Industrial Revolution, which also improved the systems of transportation, communication and banking. Although Industrialization brought an increase volume and variety of products and an improvement of living for some, it also resulted in often severe employments and horrible living conditions for the poor and working classes.
